In 1957 Ferruccio, Adriano Gigante’s grandfather, decided to follow his passion changing work from miller with 40 years of experience to winemaker. He settled in the village of Corno di Rosazzo (UD) on the Rocca Bernarda hill in the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC. We are 135 km from Venice, in the most North-Eastern region of Italy called Friuli Venezia Giulia. Here he bought a house with a small cellar and a single vineyard of Tocai Friulano grape variety. His dream thus began and it is going on nowadays with his grandson Adriano in an area with a high vine growing vocation, thanks to the perfect balance between position, soil composition and climate.
